We were going to go to the pub, but I'm not in the mood, so I'm getting MrsChimp to cut my hair and take Harvey for a walk. He's been a naughty boy all day today with him barking at everything that has gone past the house and then rolling in in the garden and getting covered from head to paws.

TheChimp it's had better days mate not as bad as moving about but when I get up off sitting position or off bed it's painful still

MrsChimp is having problems with her feet. She had to get an emergency GP appointment yesterday and went for x-rays today. And she can't take painkillers atm

TheChimp not good being poorly and not being able to take medication for it, hope that she gets sorted asap. I'm due a phone call on 31st hoping they will give me a xray on my back aswell.

TheChimp good evening mr chimp. Don’t be such a miserable bugger, a change of drinking venue will do you good. You won’t drink so much when you have to pay pub prices

heatherduthie I've only been to the pub 2-3 times since Covid. Our local.charged me £6.60.for a pint of Guinness last time

nina090976 I’ve just heard from her. She is still in hospital and feeling awful but is getting back on her naproxen tonight so hopefully that will ease the pain a bit. Poor thing she is having a right time of it isn’t she

TheChimp im much better today since they took that other catheter out yesterday. The pain has eased dramatically. I’m much better today thanks

didn you go to the pub then. I haven’t had a gin since before I was in hospital. I’m not really in the mood for it at the moment

heatherduthie oh no, sounds awful. Naproxen are quite heavy duty, I remember I took one pill and it just affected me all day I hardly take painkillers, she must be feeling in pain hope she makes a steady recovery, I miss her in our chats, thanks for the update hun X

nina090976 I can’t take them either they make me feel sick. Yes she has definitely had a time of it. She is very poorly at the moment

No, didn't go to the pub. Was have a quiet drink with MrsChimp until it all kicked off at the drug house across the road. We live in a cul-de-sac in a village ffs. The landlord has been trying to evict them for ages, but they can't because of something to do with the lease

TheChimp bloody hell that’s a nightmare. We had a crazy drug dealer lived 2 up from us for a while. She shouted at her nightmare dogs all day. My other half was glad when she moved away as he couldn’t get slept when he was on nightshift for her

David1983 I've been in work most the day. I did get my daughter this morning first.

Imnotcheap nice hope your time with her is cherished. We're just ordering a Chinese. I got oxford cup final to watch on tv tomorrow then the grand prix and last day of football on tv Sunday. Needles to say alot of sofa surfing xx

She will be coming home for summer end of next month. Bringing everything home doesn't sound fun but will be great having her here

I actually went out with MrsChimp today, to Farmfoods and the bottle bank. I've emailed the council to come and collect the banks because they're full now

TheChimp hahaha. I can imagine. Ours is the same. I was fed up going over to them and having to come back with the bottles. I throw them in the wheelie bin now I’ve no time for it. Glass is the one thing in my opinion we should have a recycling bin for at home

heatherduthie We have a glass recycling box at home, but it's not big enough. It goes out once every 3 weeks
