Honestly your worrying for nothing not gonna lie tho the spray doesn't taste nice but you will be fine it's over and done with pretty quickly

I had one when pregnant with my son a few years ago. It wasn't pleasant but didn't hurt and was pretty quick. It can be really helpful in finding the issue.

I had this procedure about 4 months ago and choose to had sedation over the spray, never felt a thing and no after effects either. Good luck and please don't worry, my friend had throat spray and said she was fine with that too.

I have no idea what this is but you sound anxious, try not worry ..breathe, relax .. if you're tense it will make the said procedure uncomfortable. Hopefully you will get answers to what's bothering you ... Best of wishes xx

essa, you have nothing to worry about this procedure. The 1st time I had this done I choose the sedation, the other three times I had the spray. It doesn't hurt and you can go straight home after using the spray. If you choose sedation you must not drive for 24 hours and someone will need to pick you up from hospital in a car or taxi.

I don’t want to scare you but you have asked. I had one done but when I came round afterwards they said they couldn’t do it as unbeknown to me I started pulling the tube out. No idea why they didn’t stop me or hold me down as I had been sedated. So I had to have the whole procedure another day.

The gave me a choice to be sedated or to have a numbing spray. I chose numbing spray because I didn't need someone to look after me for 24-hours afterwards. Having a small child that would have been impossible. It made me Gag a but it didn't hurt, but the doctors were very good and explained what they were doing . mine was over and done with quickly, and I could eat after an hour. If I remember right you can't eating 6 hours before the test. Good luck and best wishes
