Good Places to Get Furniture?
Other
I'm moving out of my house soon and moving to my new one, can somebody tell me an online store that sells really good quality furniture for a good price? Not too expensive please
Not online, but definitely worth knowing about are Furniture Warehouses that sell returned furniture from stores like M&S, Laura Ashley and House of Fraser to the public for a fraction of the price.
You can search for them on Google.
For example: https://trade-secret.co.uk/ buys cancelled or returned orders and stock over-runs from famous high street stores and dot com brands and sells directly to the public at up to 60% off the RRP. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of the stock, however the retailers are unable to resell it as it is no longer factory wrapped.
Also lots of Charities these days have second-hand furniture outlets where you can often get fantastic bargains!
Someone placed a coffee table by the garbage bin and I grabbed it.
It's in great shape, just had to clean it and tighten the screws. I reckon a table like this sells for £45-£50 or so, I'll check IKEA...

Similar to this, minus the bottom part.
Working HDTVs are also thrown away, this I'm guessing because they bought a new one.
PhilipMarc, Someone has dumped a set of three coffee tables minus the glass tops. I put them in the back of my car and brought them home. Replaced the coffee table tops by putting on some spare tiles and they come up like new. They look good outside on my patio.
I would recommend Bed Kings www.bedkings.co.uk/collections/clearance-items, what I liked about this company was that for a fee they will build the furniture.
Wow, I am going to Furniture Warehouses website after this. I only need two dining chairs to buy, hopefully I can get away with only ordering two instead of 4-6 dining chairs.
You could get some quality second hand furniture from gumtree. Type John Lewis and other good shops in the search and limit the travel distance.
