Aldi is selling bottles of non-alcoholic beer and prosecco for dogs in-store.

Two bottles are being sold:

  • Bottom Sniffer Beer for Pets, £2.49
  • Pawsecco, £2.49

The non-alcoholic pet beverages will be on sale from December 7th in-store. You can see all recent Aldi deals here.

What's inside the drinks for dogs?

The two drinks do not contain alcohol and are non-carbonated. Aldi explains they're made with 100% natural ingredients and formulated with the advice of veterinary experts.

Bottom Sniffer beer is made with dandelion and burdock. Pawsecco contains elderflower, nettle and a ginseng and limeflower finish.

Why have Aldi decided to sell these drinks for pets?

Julie Ashfield, Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi UK, said, “There are some 16 million dogs and cats in the UK; we are a nation obsessed with our pets and from speaking with customers we know many owners want to treat their fluffy family members at special occasions, especially at Christmas."
