Every kid (or adult) has had a superhero obsession at some point - and one little boy has got the dream Batman bedroom thanks to his artistic mum.

Sonia Sibley, 32, from Plymouth, created the incredible Batman room for her son Vinnie, four.

Sonia, who works as a cleaner, told LatestDeals.co.uk: “My little boy was begging for a Batman room, so as I haven't got much money I decided to paint it myself as it would be a lot cheaper.

"I looked on Google for Batman rooms and realised that I could buy transfers but his wall is not great so they would never stick. So I decided to draw it!

"I bought a ruler for £2.35 and I went to Homebase to buy tester pots for £5. I started to draw an outline with a pen although I was scared at how it would turn out.

“I did it during the day while my boy was at school and then worked nights to finish it.

"I bought the bedding and rug off eBay for £21 and got the cushions from a reuse centre for £2. I then got his lamp, throw, lampshade and plant for £24 at B&M, and his clothes rack was £12 from Screwfix to put all his fancy dress items on.

“I know it's not perfect but it was cheap and every time he now goes into his room he will always know that Mummy drew his Batman and it was done with love. When Vinnie first saw the room he literally lit up the room with his smile and said ‘Mummy, I love it and I love you’."

“My tip to people would be - if you draw something in your mind and it looks good then go for it as you have nothing to lose! Why spend lots of money when you can do things with time and love?”

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, said: “Lucky Vinnie! His room will be the envy of all Batman fans, myself included. I can’t believe it cost Sonia just £60 to create. Incredible bargain hunting skills. Parents looking to re-create the look should take a leaf out of Sonia’s book and stock up on cheap tester pots, accessories and furniture from the likes of B&M, ebay and Homebase - and don’t forget to sketch out a draft before taking to the wall!"

Love all these stories and great ideas but we need some dad/man stories 😁 I'm sure there's some savvy dad bargain hunters who shop at b&m, poundland and eBay 👍
