  • New dishes available starting Wednesday, May 1st
  • Includes breakfast options and innovative meal deals

Next week, Wetherspoons is set to spice up its menu by introducing a series of vibrant new dishes aimed at providing a dining experience that rivals that of Wagamama. The new offerings, which roll out from Wednesday, will include a diverse array of options from an exotic ramen noodle bowl to a flavorful Shawarma chicken wrap.

James Flanders from The Sun highlights the depth of the new menu, which also includes three new breakfast items, expanding Wetherspoons' morning appeal. The standout ramen noodle bowl is packed with noodles, bean sprouts, shiitake mushrooms, spring onions, pak choi, bamboo shoots, red onion, sliced chillies, and coriander in a savory broth. This dish caters to vegan diners with a low-calorie count, and patrons can add poached egg or grilled chicken for an extra treat.

For those favoring Middle Eastern flavors, the Shawarma chicken wrap is a must-try. It consists of spiced pulled chicken thigh seasoned with Middle Eastern spices and Naga chilli, combined with garlic and herb sauces, tomato, onion, rocket, and fresh mint, all wrapped in a choice of 10-inch or 12-inch sizes.

Breakfast at Wetherspoons just got more tempting with the introduction of the American-style pancakes, Fiesta Brunch, and fresh fruit and yogurt options. The menu now also caters more extensively to vegan preferences with dishes like vegan beans on toast and vegan tomato and basil soup.

And for dessert lovers, Wetherspoons doesn’t hold back. New additions include sticky toffee pudding and a lavish Millionaires dessert, featuring layers of ice cream, shortbread biscuit, chocolate sauce, and toffee sauce.

Wetherspoons is known for its compelling meal deals, such as Tuesday’s Steak Club, Thursday Curry Club, and Fish Friday, where diners can enjoy substantial meals with drinks at a fraction of regular prices.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "Wetherspoons is stepping up its game with these new additions, offering a variety of flavors that challenge the usual pub fare and bring a taste of global cuisine to the table. It’s a smart move that should appeal to a broad range of tastes and keep diners coming back for more."

Wow that sounds quite exotic for them, should be a taste treat in-between throwing punches and shouting obscenities at other patrons. I just hope they have plenty of mops on hand for when someone has 8 pints of lager and a ramen noodle bowl with eggs on top.

Do not recognise the Wetherspoons that BonzoBanana describes (throwing punches and shouting obscenities at other patrons),

Maybe it's the locator he lives raver than the Wetherspoons?

I can confirm there are pleasant Wetherspoons in pleasant part of the county with pleasant people.

It doesn't help that one's experience tares all.
