Ask a Question

Just wanted to ask the Latest Deals Community do you know how much it costs to have your ears pierced..

I had mine done at 15 years old nearly 45 years ago & our daughter had her's done aged 10 or 11 & is now 26.

Don't go to Claire's, extortionate price, £45 for my youngest girl last year, her mum took her & paid, I would have walked away at that price, tattoo studios usually have a qualified piercer

My Niece paid £80 for her 5 year old at Claires Crystal Peaks Sheffield branch with Earrings,a ridiculous amount...

Niece says Tattoo Parlours Piercing prices are between £10 & £20..

There’s a place in my town where my son went when he was younger I think they charge about £20/25 now

My local pharmacy used to charge a tenner with a set of studs, but that was decades ago. I got my second piercing at claires for £15, which included studs also, but that was also decades ago

You are better off going to a tattoo shop and getting them done there. You have less chance of getting an infected piercing than if you go to Claires.

I had mine done at the local jewellers when I was 10, that was 24 years ago now. I wouldn't go to the Claires as heard it is ridiculous the amount they charge.

My friend did two holes in each ears 40years ago with a sewing needle and ice cube, l stopped wearing earrings years ago but purchased some studs the other day and pushed through the old holes and voila I've got earrings in again 😊

It's 11.5 years since our daughter last wore earrings, the day of her Irish Granny's Funeral in Portadown..

It's about 5 years since I.wore earrings too...

Pinkspirit When I was about 12-13 I got one pierced with a neighbour, she would use a sterilised needle an ice cube and hold a potato behind the ear, if anyone didn't have a stud she's put a thread on the needle and leave it until you got an earring, usually the following day.

I can't believe some of the prices quoted on this thread for ear peircing from Claires but it's not surprising considering all of their tat is overpriced, however it was good to find out that a tatoo parlour does them cheaper.
