Is 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' Still Worth Watching?

Other

I used to enjoy this show at the beginning when it was all new but not any more. It’s been going for a lot of years now and personally I think it’s had it’s time. There aren’t many celebrities left that haven’t done it already but what I really hate is the eating trials - I just don’t find people gagging entertaining and it’s a bit depraved the things they put in front of them although I’m suspicious of it all actually being real. The other thing that really annoys me is the public picking the same person time after time to do trials - that just makes the whole thing really boring. The others just get paid to sit around. Do you watch it? Do you vote? I never vote.

We'll watch it for the first few days to see how the group dynamic works and then decide whether to carry on.

The problem is that there can't really be any decent disagreements or arguments anymore because there will be an accusation of bullying or the race card being played, either by one of the celebrities or by the snowflake public.

I certainly do not vote.

TheChimp I will continue to watch bits and pieces of it, if nothing better is on tv. I never vote. A complete waste of money if you ask me.

This is the same with most reality game shows isn’t it. They always start off new and exciting but then people figure out how to gain the most from them and play games more. I heard Nigel Farage is going in this year so I won’t be watching a single minute personally.

I've never watched it, watching a bunch of ex celebrities eating 💩 does not interest me one bit.....

I don't watch it so don't vote. This kind of programme is really just to heighten the participants' profiles - not for me 🙄

JLouM I’m not a fan of the show. I can’t believe those in the camp eat ridiculous horrid things all for more publicity.

I totally agree with everything you have said. I stopped watching before they went to Wales. I watched a bit of that one but did not enjoy it and never watched it since. Tell a lie I did watch the the first one of the last series to see who was on and that was it. I have never voted.

Boring, same old thing year after year. Like most stuff associated with Ant & Dec, this programme is past it's best. Will probably end up watching some of it thou as ITV will put it on prime time every night and there will be little else on other channels to watch .

I watched it in the early days but haven't watched it for several years. I think reality TV overall has had its day imo. Barely any participant's seem authentic these days.

As a family partner, daughter & I are really looking forward to watching The Traitors, saw Claudia Winkleman creeping about in her cloak a few days ago & are very excited!!

I just hope it's as good as the first series & the format hasn't been changed...
