I don't have a dog cos they eat loads I imagine but then again dog food is cheaper overall than cat food and my cat has some appetite as well.I buy from amazon online in large amounts monthly and then a few more snacks from the supermarket along the way so probably costs about £40 ish a month!

MelissaLee1 It largely depends on your breed (My border collie costs more than my mums cockapoo) and the quality of food varies so much. I definitely don't think it's cheaper than cat food, it will always depend on what you are buying.

I buy the massive packs of Asda own. I buy 4 or 5 at a time. Its £18.50 for 24 of them. Include treats and it costs us about £25 a month to feed her.

£50-60 a month.

Harvey the woofer can only eat crappy Winalot pouches because of his stomach.

Well our Pomeranian is nearly 11 and has always had to have natural and sensitive food for digestion. We buy Lilly’s Kitchen Dog Food and it use to be expensive but now the price is ridiculous. We spend about £30 on 12 cans of dog food!

Luckily we love our baby boy lol so we do it for him.

I guess we are about £40-50 a month for our dog. we use Amazon subscribe & save to bring the cost down a bit. Pedigree dog food £10.79 for 12 against£13.50 at Tesco - either 2 or 3 trays a month. We also then brought Crave dry dog food but have just this month switched to Iams as it was out of stock for a couple of months. The Iams works out half the price and the dog seems to enjoy it so that will help. Again a lot cheaper on Amazon S&S - £21.60 for 15kg but £7 for 2kg at Tesco. Overall our pet food bill is has dropped quite a bit as we sadly lost our cat at Christmas.

Between £50 / £80 a month. It varies tho depending on current deals & treats. We switch between Edgard Cooper & Lilys Kitchen ( he prefers Edgard) but depends on best deals. Often get 2 bags on offer at pets at home etc. He also gets yellow sticker meats often & several treats
