Would You Have Split This Golden Balls Jackpot ?
Ask a Question
I remember watching this programme in the early 2000s and used to enjoy when the contestants could split or steal the prize money
But they had to both agree to split otherwise if the other said steal they took all the money
I am not sure if i could have done what this contestant did when they reached £100.000 and he suggested they both split , she seemed to agree then revealed the steal ball and took all the money
I know it is the concept of the game , but you need to be a hard person to rob the other contestant of his or her share when you seemed to have agreed in principle
What would you do in this situation ?

MelissaLee1 You are so right there M, the poor bloke could have paid off all his debts with his share
I'd steal only because I would like to think they would be honest and split but most don't on that show
People used to steal quite regularly from what i remember. I agree with the you though I don’t think i could do that.
It's a game; there's nothing selfish about playing it. You're not actually stealing from anyone. Everyone knows it's a game going into it so no need to take issue when someone plays it
I would be so ashamed and embarrassed. Imagine facing family and friends after they have seen you do that, they would go down in my estimation. But if you are hard enough to do it I guess you don't suffer from shame or embarrassment. Although you might wonder why you have no friends!
I'd want it all, it's a game winner takes all, I wouldn't feel any shame or embarrassment
Oh yeah the show with Jasper Carrot.. I hated it when they did that! even the theme tune had a cunning vibe to it
We have actually got the board game of this and my son wanted to play it over Christmas. It’s in the loft so we played monopoly instead. But to answer your question I would have probably gone split and lost the lot.
