Would You Time Travel To The Past Or To The Future?

Ask a Question

If you could time travel to any era, past or future, where and when would you go?

1900's (America, specifically) so I'd not reach the 2000's. 😅

Paris 1920s... but, mainly 1960s to 2020. I'd like to got to lots of concerts, events, exhibitions and visit certain buildings & places that are no longer around. Plus, to save money, grocery shopping, going to the pub and dining out in the 1980s. If time travel really existed, the further back in time you went the more you would stand out as being different. Which would likely be dangerous in certain eras.

I'd still like to see if Jesus existed as depicted in the bible. I suspect not but it would be interesting to see who the real Jesus was who these stories are based on. The way its going I feel like the future world will be horrible air quality and heat and really uncomfortable, perhaps we will be forced to wear breathing apparatus in our normal lives. I'm not sure going into the future will be pleasant.

Just my past, no special era. Just appreciate how lucky I’ve been up to 55 before illness strikes.

For me it would have to be the future, we know some of the past but nothing of the future and think of all the advances we have already made.

I would love to go back to the past where people were less materialistic and more polite and appreciative

To the future where all negative aspects of society have been abandoned and remote space travel is the norm 😃

I'd like to travel back to the 1930's so I could meet my dad and his family when they were all young.

I guess the past I'd try to do a lot of things differently. Mainly stopping a friend commiting suicide. I knew he was struggling but I didn't act. We weren't in contact but I still cared about him. Didn't try to help because I didn't want to deal with the possible rejection. I thought wrongly that his family would realise and get him the help he needed.

I’d love to go back to Victorian times, sit with Queen Victoria of England at the dinner table and see how things were run . Also to see how they traded in different countries. Id like to visit Persia India and see what the times were like then really

Medieval times in order to see how accurate our records of historic events are. There would be a proviso.....that I would be a hologram or in some sort of spirit form.....wouldn't want to be punished for my modern ideas!😂
