Are you having trouble getting your post?
Some roads by me are only getting post once a week or fortnight! People are starting to go into the sorting office with their ID to collect their own post so they don't miss important hospital letters and the like.
Yeah Royal mail over the last 6 months has been terrible , I think it's nation wide as well
martinlufc5637 Royal Mail in my area has been terrible since Covid. I usually get my letters in a bundle with different postmarks at least once a week.
We seem to get post about 2 times a week at the moment, Wednesday and Saturday.
Jackscot Did you manage to get the parcels sorted (replaced by a retailer?) or were they personal?
Royal Mail has been rubbish for many many of years and yes I am having trouble getting my post as they keep losing mine or takes weeks to deliver It. Absolute joke they are.
The other November after my close friend gave me the heads up about why our post was missing I walked to our local Sorting Office,asked the man & received NINE letters including a BANK CARD & HOSPITAL APPOINTMENT! I asked the man why our post was missing & he replied that Royal Mail were short staffed, that was the first I knew of it. They could have put a letter out explaining, ahh but then it might not have been delivered!!
Yes we definitely don't get a delivery daily must be at least 2 days a week we don't see a postie
Samgoodship thanks got refunds from them, but it as a lot of messing around had to report it to the police and get a crime reference number
I didn't know you could go to the local sorting office. Our postman comes regularly - pretty most days, but we still miss important letters - a family member missed a hospital appointment they didn't even get recently. And it's absolutely awful when it's not our usual postman.
