Major Change Coming To Amazon Prime Video & Members Are Not Happy

Image

A big shakeup is coming to Amazon Prime Video. If you're an avid Prime Video user, brace yourselves: they're introducing advertisements into the mix next year.

From next year, Prime customers will face ads on Prime Video, unless they're willing to splash out an extra $2.99 (£2.44) per month for an ad-free version.

Alex Croft at The Mirror reported that while Prime Video customers are expressing disappointment with this new change, Amazon has chimed in. They've said that they're aiming for “meaningfully fewer” ads compared to other streaming platforms. Sounds hopeful, but we know ads can be pesky.

I'll be diving deep in the upcoming weeks to figure out top tips and tricks to navigate and potentially bypass these commercials. Stay locked in and I'll keep you informed.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of shopping community LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, “Amazon’s move to introduce ads showcases the shifting landscape of streaming. It’s essential for consumers to stay informed and find ways to optimise their viewing experience.”

They already have adverts on videos!! Yes it may be just one ad for their own titles before your video begins, but it’s still advertising!
