Nice little touchscreen laptop using the Pentium N5030 chipset. I compared it to the Celeron N4120 and this is a bit faster in most areas but importantly the GPU has 50% more processing units, 18 compared to 12 so graphically a bit stronger. Still on a 6W TDP. Highlights of the spec is the full HD IPS screen which is also a touch screen.

GeoFlex 230 is a 13.3-inch Windows 10 convertible laptop with a Full HD IPS touchscreen, a premium full-metal silver exterior and a rapid 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD) for storage. Built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi provides the most reliable wireless network signal available, with less interference.

A 1-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal is included with GeoFlex 230, offering access to leading productivity software such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint and more.

Multi-talented

GeoFlex 230 has a 360-degree rotating hinge, allowing you to repurpose your laptop for the job at hand. Use GeoFlex in laptop mode as your portable workspace, flip it into tablet mode to relax on the sofa, prop it up in tent mode as a mini movie screen or make it your recipe assistant in the kitchen.

With flexibility at its core, GeoFlex 230 is ready for anything.

Form and function

A full-metal shell brings premium style to this slender, lightweight 13.3-inch laptop, while a Full HD (1920 x 1080) touchscreen display delivers clear, crisp images even at wide angles. Powered by an Intel Celeron Quad-Core processor with 4GB RAM, GeoFlex 230 is ready when you are.

If required, your device storage can be expanded via a built-in M.2 2280 SATA bay. A MicroSD card slot is also provided.

Windows 10

With the widest range of software and peripheral device compatibility available, Windows 10 is the only choice for productivity. GeoFlex 230 comes with Windows 10 Home in S-Mode ready to go.

Communication

A built-in front-facing 2MP webcam, dual microphone and 2 integrated speakers ensure you have the tools you need to easily and efficiently communicate with friends, family or co-workers.

802.11ac Wi-Fi brings reliable wireless connectivity less prone to interference from other devices.

Connectivity

Connections include a USB-C data port, 2 USB-A ports (1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0), 3.5mm jack for headphones & headsets plus a MicroSD card for swappable storage. Connect wireless peripherals via Bluetooth 4.2.

Also appears to be a solid state drive (SSD) compared to the EMMC storage of many budget laptops. Personally I would install the latest Windows 11 LTSC or Windows 10 LTSC on it and debloat those operating systems as much as possible to give maximum speed and increase memory. Also with a SSD I would setup a set 8GB of virtual memory using the SSD.

BonzoBanana you seem to invested so much time on this . Hope it's worth your time as time is money. Have you tried installing Chrome OS on this with touchscreen functionality to make it into Chromebook with 4gb ram ? At my work when IT upgrade laptops they give old ones to some charity, which installs ChromeOS Flex on the laptops before giving to schools for free.

samoflondon I don't have this computer myself I actually prefer the smaller 11.3" or even 10" screens for a portable computer but for overall spec I think its great value. I have bought a grade C laptop from CCL though without issues, it came in excellent condition in its original box without any paperwork and just had its charger. I was very pleased. I haven't really invested much time in it I just copied over my advert when it was dearer in the past. I like Chromebooks but generally I prefer Windows for a general purpose computer. Also most of my favourite PC games are old games which run fine on computers like this anyway. The main things I personally need from a laptop is for it to be small, light with very long battery life as I like to take it when I'm out and about so to speak and don't want to ever worry about charging. I want a day's use on battery without issue. When I say day I mean 8 hours absolute minimum.

4gb soldered ram biggest drawback in Grade C Windows touchscreen laptop Should come with at least 16gb or 32gb ram if soldered. On plus side it has touchscreen at 1080p resolution.

samoflondon Surprisingly you do get 4GB computers still being sold in places like Currys like the HP stream models etc for around £200 still. As I said above I would setup 8GB of virtual memory using the solid state drive and use a operating system like Windows 10 LTSC or Windows 11 LTSC and debloat that further, then set the performance settings to high all over the operating system. 4GB is perfectly usable and fast. It really depends on the apps you are using. Normal Windows 10 and 11 wastes a huge amount of memory and cpu power on background tasks that have no benefit to you. I sort of feel a 4GB PC with LTSC and a debloated operating system is better than a 8GB PC with non-debloated regular install of Windows 10 or 11. I mean many games that recommend 8GB like Fallout 4 will happily run on a 4GB PC with LTSC although part of that is likely the low resolution you run the game and low detail levels forced on you by the intel graphics.

I noticed CCL is banned at Hotukdeals for some reason so you cannot post links to CCL there. I've bought 3 times from CCL recently and no issues at all with delivery and the products I ordered. I feel Hotukdeals block retailers who don't pay them the affiliate income promptly as I've seen many good retailers blocked on that site. You sort of wonder how many other good deals Hotukdeals are blocking. When Chain Reaction were closing down in Administration they would not list those deals some of which were amazing offers. They were in administration quite a while and I got everything I ordered and was super pleased.

BonzoBanana I have also bought from CCL in the past with no problems . HotUKDeals are also not honest when it comes to promoted/ moderator deals which have to be hot 🔥 at any cost. Glad their monopoly is over which they had for many years before this site .

samoflondon I don't think many people realise how hotukdeals restrict deals if they cannot generate affiliate income. A company in administration for example is unlikely to pay affiliate income as they won't exist in a few months. Really it just needs a warning about the greater risk and making sure people use a credit card that protects them against non delivery or paypal. I used paypal as they always seem to refund for non-delivery even if they are rubbish for longer term issues i.e. a product that fails after 3 months.
