Please offer me a seat
Many of our customers, particularly disabled people and those with invisible impairments, conditions or illnesses, find it difficult to get a seat. Our free 'Please offer me a seat' badge and card makes it easier to let other passengers know that you need a seat.
The badge and card can be used on all our services: London Underground, London Overground, Elizabeth line, Buses, DLR, Trams and River Services.
You don't need to explain your reasons for the badge and card with either our staff or fellow customers. Please remember the badge and card doesn't guarantee you a seat.
this is a good freebie, would be good for my sister who has had a foot operation and needs a seat
sirglen1 Sadly the Ts&Cs do state 'Please offer me a seat' badges and cards can be sent to any address in the Greater London area, and to South East England. You can order them by filling out the form below or calling TfL Customer Services'
I agree it is unfortunate as I am sure many people would benefit from this.
Perhaps you could approach your local transport company as they may have a similar scheme and you could still wear their badge when travelling to London.
sirglen1 I did try and look on the internet for Welsh 'offer me a seat' but only came up with the standard English ones here - www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/asking-for-a-seat-public-transport/
