The tool, RentCheck, will then show you for the last two years:
The rent in London shouldn't really cost so much because even though it's portrayed as one of the best cities in the world to live in, I can't say I was too pleased to go around many areas of London. Now with stores closing down in UK maybe the times are changing and prices in general will be modified from what they once were.
Everyone likes to visit the wealthy areas of London but the poor ones? Only if you want to witness just how bad it is.
Heck, I once saw a guy traveling with a stolen shopping cart from ASDA/Tesco/LIDL or whatever it was (via train). It's the way it is, I guess. Another instance was an ex-boyfriend harassing his ex-girlfriend and I wasn't even sure what to do but the staff came and blocked him from being in contact with her.
And oh God, these hideous buildings...
This is what people can find in one of the so-called best cities in the world.
Anyway, this post may seem like I'm hating on London but I actually love it and it pains me that it's not as good as it once was (due to the govt).
