Hi zoepop I got a farm in the highlands of Scotland and I have one goose at the Monet. When the better weather come I will be having chickens. Like you I rescue them. When I first get them they are very nervous. They don't know what out Side is. But i give them a few days and they come out of the coop. The poor things feather are patchie were they have been in the cages. But after month or so. They are diffrant chickens. Much happier. My chickens roam around they got a lot of freedom. Then it's fun and games to get them back in the coop. Hope to have a few rescue ducks and geese fingers cross. 🐥🐥🐥🐥

Sounds lovely where abouts in the Highlands are you based? My hubby had a family home in mora as a child so we take our boys up there a lot.

My neighbour does and frequently drops eggs which are lovely! My husband would love to keep them but always leaves the hard work down to me and I'm not so keen.
