I want to attempt to cook my tea from scratch at some point over the next couple of days. Can anyone recommend any good starter recipes?
I dont know, just anything really. I haven't thought about anything specific lol.
brandondh18 if you like Chinese food, try this, it's very easy to make (and quick), you don't need many ingredients, and you'll end up with a dish as good as if you ordered it at the restaurant

I started cooking recently using a packet sausage casserole mix from schwarz,tells you what you need to get on back of packet and there are also other packet recipes
I LOVE a homemade lasagne 
you could try chilli? Shepherds pie? Maybe even a simple curry? Really depends on what sort of cuisine you like to eat!
