Help, Spam Emails

So I get spam from the same sender atleast 10 times a day. Clicked unsubscribe it leads to a fake pharmacy what do I do?
I seem to be on the mailing list for 'Hot Chicks' etc ... get loads of offers daily On a serious side I never open them and mark them as spam so they have disappeared off my screen. When I start getting too many of these I just set up a new gmail account and start again - assuming you have an email account just for competitions. (don't close the old account down too quickly in case you win something!)
Never unsubscribe from spam emails - it lets them know the email account is active. Best to report as spam (if they're not already in your spam folder) then delete. They have ways of knowing if their email has been opened. By opening you can find yourself on a list sold to other spammers.
Tasha042 You might find by just reporting and deleting that your spam email diminishes. I used to get dozens - now only about 3 a day on one email account. Should make it clear that if the numerous emails are from some site you've let have your email address then it's OK to unsubscribe. Many get your email address from mass emails that list hundreds of other email addresses - although that seems to becoming less common. Always send email to several recipients using the BCC function and try to tell anyone who sends you an email that lists other recipients to do the same. And always remove any other email addresses from any email you forward.
I recall some years ago that one badly sent email (usually forwarding a joke - that got forwarded again and again) would reap the email harvesters thousand of email addresses if just one email fell into their hands.
davidstockport yes I remember them emails. That was back before social media I used to get lots of spam but it stopped for ages and started again now. It's so frustrating.
Tasha042 A little tip that can help: If you ever go to a site that needs an email address for you to progress (not join) just type something randomly like aiisiixjjhhhbbv@aol.com (had to laugh as I typed it because of the aol it automatically turned into a totally useless link)
Just mark it as spam and you won't be bothered by it. Clicking on "unsubscribe" can actually alert the spammers you're active.
