What is Mystery Parcel

Ask a Question

I got a card through the door saying I have z parcel with £7 to pay at local post office. I usually don't trust them but it's royal mail. I thought it might have been a present I'm waiting for but got reply back from one saying not shipped yet. Leaving 2 one was refunded weeks ago after going missing and wasn't worth £7.

Update the nice man at post office let me look and it was the order that was previously refunded

EKWilkes89 I'm going to wait and see what one more company says then I will get it if they'll refund the £7 as I already paid p&p

These tend to be scams. If it tells you where to collect it from or has a reference number on it then phone Royal Mail. They will be able to tell you if its one of their reference numbers.

suevernon1968 I wondered if it could be a scam. It says collect from royal mail. I've thought about going down but don't want to pay £7 if item isn't worth it

Imnotcheap you can go down and ask to see it. See if it has a return address on it. If it is telling you to collect from your local Royal Mail office then it is probably real. The scams tend to ask you for a payment to be made online. Do let us all know when you discover what it is won’t you !!
