Printed coupons

Other

Ive recently started using printed coupons,i took some Saturday to asda and they were a complete nightmare, would scan then void, rinse and repeat, lady behind me was glaring at me apparently.  Today I took some to morrisons and not a problem.  I was just wondering if others have the same problems at certain supermarkets but not others.

I had a similar issue in asda so went to customer services and got a refund as well as £2 goodwill on a gift card

ASDA is notoriously difficult for coupons. I've never had a problem in Iceland, nor Tesco.

Morrisons always give me hell when it comes to using coupons - even management seem clueless when it came to deciding what to do. Everywhere seems to be ok

Generally not had problems in Asda which is where I use most of my coupons (its my corner shop!). I did have an issue with my NHS Discount cashback card which only worked on about half of the tills. I was then taken down to the service desk where it always worked fine. The latest card works fine now. At least the staff are always friendly when things dont work.

i normally use coupons on days i know certain people work and once you get chatting to them theyre more helpful and just scan them through, and some places just doesnt like you using black and white printed ones (sainsbury's self service has a limit £3? on vouchers but the assistants are ok to put this in manually after)

I printed the coupons in colour and the lady on till and higher up member of staff that came to help try and get them to work were lovely,i was so apologetic to them as I felt I was been a pain.going to try some more the weekend, might try a different supermarket or use self serve so I don't have people glaring at me in the que lol

My local sainsburys outright refuses any coupon that isn't one printed by their machines. I've even had coupons from their magazine refused before there. Luckily there's one a bit further away that isn't like that, but it's annoying for sure.

All the stores have some coupon policies, but it is usually depends on the sales assistants mood if they accept them or not. I found Tesco the worst in this, one store accept it, other not...same coupon. Last time they did not accept my manufacturer's coupon, because it is not in their system, but these coupon were sent to me. The best is to use the cashback Apps they are like coupons, but give the money back after purchase. You do not have to be in any kind of strange situation. I think Morrison is the best in coupon accepting.
