Unfortunately due to some weird deals with with other game platforms they lost a few major games releases in the past years, but the game developers are coming to understand that Steam is the best options and more and more are coming back to Steam again.
I like steam because they have an extensive catalogue of both new and old games. They also have a lot of games from independent studios and I enjoy those games particularly. Most of the people I know use Steam and so I use it to game with other people. There are always discounts for certain games and their seasonal sales are amazing!
Customer service has been helpful whenever I needed it. Refund policy I believe is fair.
