I really like Very because they have a good range of products for sale and the prices are ok, although I've found that there is a slight increase in price but I imagine this is because of the difference in payment options available, so it's doable. As an example, recently I bought a good pair of waterproof walking boots made by Amblers, and they're really comfy and fully waterproof. £55. Yes, other outlets can be found that sell for a cheaper price but the big advantage of Very is that you don't have to pay the full amount in one go. You sort of have a credit limit and pay off a nominal minimum amount each month. The delivery cost is a strange one though. The boots were either £3.99 home delivery charge or free delivery to the local Post Office, which is only a 5 minute walk from where I live anyway. The delivery driver had to pass by my house to drop them off at the Post Office.
When you first register with very they give you 20% off which can be used on sale items and brings the price down further. I ordered a PS5 two controllers and 3 games which were Spider-Man, modern COD modern warfare and EAFC 24 all for £555. I also bought Rock legs suitcases which were originally £99 and after my discount I got it for £55 which was a bargain.
Very are VERY strange...... I ordered the iPad special with £50 off with code. All went well until the payment. The basket removed the the £50 at payment and it said we will refund you the £50 later? Why? IF it is off the price you don't charge the full amount and later Promisse to refund it????? Very dodgy business practice.
