Nando’s Rewards: How The Loyalty Scheme Works
Did you know Nando’s have a loyalty programme called Nando’s Rewards? You can sign up and earn rewards when you eat at Nando’s restaurants. In this guide we’ll break down how to join, what you get with Nando’s Rewards, and how to make the most of your points.
What is Nando’s Rewards?
Nando’s Rewards is the restaurant’s loyalty programme.
You can join the programme by creating a Nando’s account. Then, when you’ve signed up, you can add your digital Nando’s Rewards card to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay app.
The next time you eat at the restaurant, you can scan your digital card on the contactless reader.
Everytime you scan your Nando’s Rewards card, you will earn ‘chillies’, which essentially means points.
How to join Nando’s Rewards
You can sign up to Nando’s Rewards here.
You’ll need to fill in personal information and choose a password. They will then require your mobile number for phone verification.
Then, you will be asked if you have a physical Nando’s Card. If you do, you can fill in your card number. If not, you can continue on.
You will be given a digital Nando’s card, and you will immediately have the option to add your card to your Apple Wallet if you have an iPhone. If you have an Android phone, you can add it to your Google Pay app.
You don’t need to have a physical card to use Nando’s rewards, but if you would rather have one, you can request one here.
Once you’ve signed up for a Nando’s Rewards account, you can see your profile. This includes your available Nando’s rewards and how many chillies (or points) you’ve earned.
What do you get with Nando’s Rewards?
If you go to Nando’s restaurants, it’s worth joining Nando’s Rewards.
Every time you spend over £7 either by ordering through Nando’s online or eating in at a Nando’s restaurant, you’ll earn a chilli. You’ll earn your first one just for signing up.
Once you’ve earned three chillies, you’ll get a reward.
Chillies are split up into three colours: green, orange and red. The hotter the chilli, the better the reward.
So, the first three chillies you earn are green, then the next three are orange, and then the next four are red.
The rewards you can earn with each colour are:
3 Green Chillies | 6 Orange Chillies | 10 Red Chillies |
Free ¼ Chicken, 3 Chicken Wings, or any Starter | Free ½ Chicken or any single Burger, Pitta or Wrap | Free Whole Chicken, a Meal with Regular Sides or a Salad or Bowl |
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your Nando’s Rewards will expire after one year, so make sure you use them within that time.

You can see above, you have the option to choose various freebies when you get rewards. For each level - green, orange and red - there are different free food items you can opt for.
These items have different costs, so you can save more money depending on what you choose.
We've broken down the best things to choose to save you the most money.
Best/Worst | Chillies | Reward | Item | Cost | Chilli Value |

FAQs
I’ve had Nando’s card for years and use it every time we eat there. It’s a great way of getting extra chicken or trying something new. I would thoroughly recommend it.
