Shoppers Go Wild For £7 Aldi Rosé That's A Whispering Angel Dupe
Hey Deal Hunters!
Scarlett Dargan at The Sun reported that with the heatwave hitting its stride, there's no better way to bask in the warm evenings than with a delicious glass of rosé. The big news is a £7 Aldi wine has been found to taste almost IDENTICAL to the famed £26 Whispering Angel.
Lucy, the vino enthusiast behind the TikTok channel Partner In Wine, announced that Aldi's Specially Selected Coteaux De Bezier from the Languedoc-Roussillon region in France rivals its high-priced counterpart. And the secret is this bottle comes from just outside the pricey Provence region, meaning you get the luxe taste minus the luxe price tag! It’s crafted from the same three grapes you’d expect in a Provençal rosé – samsó, grenache, and syrah.
She enthused about the vibrant burst of red berries, describing the aroma as a mix of strawberries and raspberries. After a taste test, her verdict was a simple "Wow". At only £6.99, she recommends adding it to your next Aldi shopping list and gave it the official "Partner in Wine approved" stamp.
This isn't Aldi's first triumph in the rosé department either. Their Atlantique rosé at £6.50 took social media by storm this summer and was constantly flying off the shelves.
To conclude, Tom Church, Co-Founder of shopping community LatestDeals.co.uk, stated, “It's always amazing to find a bargain that not only saves you money but offers a quality experience. Aldi continues to surprise and delight wine lovers with their offerings." Cheers to that!
