Shoppers working in key roles can grab a free £10 voucher to spend at major supermarkets like Tesco, Asda, and Sainsbury’s this Christmas. This seasonal gesture of goodwill, spearheaded by Hovis, aims to show appreciation for those who keep communities running over the festive period.

Key workers, including doctors, nurses, police officers, firefighters, and even pub owners, are eligible to claim the voucher. To apply, simply email hovischristmas@clarioncomms.co.uk with your name and job title.

Hovis launched this initiative after surveying Brits about what Christmas truly means. The results showed that over half believe the holiday is about warmth, good health, and appreciating key workers. In fact, 49% of those surveyed highlighted gratitude for key workers as a significant part of their festive spirit.

Mark Brown, Chief Marketing Officer at Hovis, explained: “This Christmas, Brits are reflecting on what truly matters. It’s not about the mountain of presents, but the warmth of loved ones, the comfort of home, and gratitude for the everyday blessings – especially those who keep us safe and well.”

Nicole Cherruault at The Sun reported that additional supermarket vouchers—worth up to £600—are available for struggling families this Christmas as part of other support initiatives.
