Cheap Halloween Sweets and Decorations from Tomorrow
Ask a Question
Hands up who is going out to buy cheap Halloween sweets, cakes, biscuits, and decorations from tomorrow??
I have never paid full price for Halloween decorations. I always buy them the day after Halloween for the following year.
I normally pick up cheap sweets etc for the kids coming to stay over the next few months. They don’t care if they are in Halloween wrappers, so it’s a win win.
I might nip to shops in the morning see what they have. Seen nice ones in Asda and the range but didn't fancy the price.
Imnotcheap they will most likely be less than half price tomorrow. I remember one year M&S sold the Halloween Colin the caterpillar sweets for 30p a bag after Halloween. They were £2 originally
I never thought about that, I’m not interested in the decorations but definitely will be wanting cheap sweeties.. decent ones though.
LL81 try M&S. They normally give a good discount on their Halloween sweets and treats
Some shops started their reductions yesterday. Tbh they probably should’ve dropped their prices last weekend to shift their junk
hspexy gosh, when I was out the were all still full price. Suppose it depends what shop you’re in. I’ll be loading up today lol
PayItForward I found that the shops nearest to me didn’t do discounts, but in the next shopping district, where there is also a daily market, they dropped their prices
MelissaLee1 yes! Me too lol. especially when all the chocolate eggs go on sale after Easter. I wouldn’t pay £10 for an Easter egg
janphoenix51 I don’t have one near me. I’m always jealous because some people in this group get great deals from there
janphoenix51 it’s great when you can pick up bargains for family too isn’t it. My cousin and I do this for eachother
PayItForward ..Yes it is, good for you.
If I see a bargain & there's loads I buy & either gift or sell to family & friends at the price I bought them for ..
If there's only a few I leave for people that need more than me..
Definitely the sweets we love Halloween but not a fan of putting up decorations and that so won’t get those
KateGriff169 I have a load of Halloween decorations already, so I won’t be getting anymore. Was in lidl this morning and all their Halloween sweets, chocolate, and crisps are discounted
My wife was busy shopping for bargains last night, now we have nightmare before Christmas figure decorations , to be fair they were half price from Asda
martinlufc5637 ...Need some of those, description please, how big? Nightmare Before Christmas is mine & daughter 's favourite Halloween/ Christmas film...
janphoenix51 George at Asda, reduced to £11 each, I think they were £25 each before
Lights up & plays music
martinlufc5637 wow. These are so amazing! I have loads of decorations, but these are too good to pass up
Bargain buy....Sally & Jack Skellington, by the time I get to Asda on my day off work this Sunday they will have all gone no doubt!!
janphoenix51 order them online for free click & collect, that's what she did, still in stock by the looks of it
martinlufc5637 .Thank you, I will see if my daughter wants to order them & I will pay for them..
I usually do have a search round but haven’t managed to this year so far. Might go a bit later next year
I was in Asda earlier today and noticed the reduced Halloween cakes (bottom shelf next to the freshly made bread rolls) and I paid 87p for Cadbury Mini Bonfire Logs, Mcvitie's Jaffaween cake bars x 2 at 62p each. Also, Mr Kipling's Toffee Apple Pies? and others I wouldn't consider buying.
jam45 that’s brilliant value. I haven’t been into asda to check what they have. I’ll maybe nip down later
Went into Aldi this morning and all the Halloween products were all very cheap. Brought several of the McVitie's cake bars for only 49p each.
jam45 wow that’s fantastic. I love the cake bars. They are handy for packed lunches too
I paid a visit to Sainsbury yesterday and there was loads of sweets at half price and some Cadbury cakes.
HEDGEHOGS I never went to Sainsburys the other day. I’ll maybe nip over this afternoon and see if they have anything left
Yeah I always buy sweets and chocolates when they are reduced after the occasion! Much cheaper! But they are usually out of stock
kitty88uk I got a load in lidl the other day. I haven’t went to Sainsburys yet, but I’ll check later and see if they have any left
PayItForward I see, how much were the sweets reduced to at Lidl? I hardly go there been once that’s it
Aldi gummy sweets are okay and their chocolate too
My local Coop is still selling at full price. Checked it a few hours ago.
Not sure what they are expecting
kikogpe wow. That’s crazy. Everywhere normally reduces them straight after Halloween. Maybe an oversight on their part?
PayItForward The shelves are still full, they probably mishandled the sales forecast.
No one bought their super expensive stuff. 3x the price comparing with stores around.
kikogpe hahaha that’s so funny. They will have to discount them at some point to get rid of them lol
