Royal Mail has issued an urgent reminder to send Christmas cards and gifts before the key deadlines to avoid any last-minute delivery disappointments.

The final dates for posting Christmas items are as follows:

• 2nd Class: Wednesday, December 18.
• 1st Class: Friday, December 20.
• Royal Mail Tracked 24: Saturday, December 21.
• Special Delivery Guaranteed: Monday, December 23.
• For those using other couriers, Evri Courier Collection will close on Thursday, December 19, and parcels dropped at Evri ParcelShops must be sent by 11am on Friday, December 20.
