Royal Mail has issued an urgent reminder to send Christmas cards and gifts before the key deadlines to avoid any last-minute delivery disappointments.
The final dates for posting Christmas items are as follows:
- 2nd Class: Wednesday, December 18.
- 1st Class: Friday, December 20.
- Royal Mail Tracked 24: Saturday, December 21.
- Special Delivery Guaranteed: Monday, December 23.
- For those using other couriers, Evri Courier Collection will close on Thursday, December 19, and parcels dropped at Evri ParcelShops must be sent by 11am on Friday, December 20.
- Use the correct address, including the full postcode.
- Pay the correct postage to avoid delays or extra charges.
- Watch out for scams—Royal Mail’s app includes a stamp scanner to detect counterfeit stamps.
