Receipt Hog is Closing Down

Saw someone mention on Facebook that Reciept hog is closing and advising people to cash out.
Has anyone else heard of this?
I’ve had a look on the app and a search online and can’t find anything relating to this. (Have asked the person who mentioned it on Facebook but no response yet)

UPDATE: Last date for uploading receipts is 30th September 2020, last date for cashing out is 30th December 2020
Ive seen something too. Its apparently closing in September and being replaced with a new app called Storewards which is already on Google play. Ive just downloaded it but im about to go to Zzzzz so will check it out properly tomorrow, oh i mean later today 
Yeah that’s what I saw too, am a bit unsure as I couldn’t find any info about the app closing
No I’ve not heard of this. Did a quick google search and someone said they were let go...in 2017... Fingers crossed they are not closing
Yeah I saw this too when I had a look, I can’t see anything recent about it though so am not sure if it’s real
lornaae ok I’m a little worried as the app no longer shows up on the App Store. But their parent company/developer, ScoutIt Inc still exists, although they may be going through a change as their existing site took me to another site. Both still do market research/analysis, so no sign of them shutting up shop yet. Will keep looking

Thanks for the update lornaae, ive just had a look at Storewards and it states you can upload receipts that are upto 14 days old, so did those old ones out if you still have them. Looks abit like shopprize where you get points daily just for logging in too, guess it all helps
uploaded some this afternoon and accepted ok
Not heard that they are closing down the app. I hope they dont I really enjoy using the app

lornaae I had exactly the same so I have managed to cash out £20 from them , just waiting for it now.
eyeballkerry I cashed out with them when I saw, it only took a day or two for them to email me my voucher
I saw this on instagram as well. I'm not close to cashing out either so the points will go to waste 
I've downloaded the storewards app its very similar to shopprize.
Was wondering if you could upload the same receipts to both the apps? Anyone tried this.
Thanks for posting this. I hadn’t heard they were closing down either, and am nowhere near cash out. I’ll have to check out the other new one that’s been mentioned here and see what it’s like. Hopefully it’ll be quicker than a Receipt Hog was anyway.
I'm on receipt hog n received a message that it is closing to uk shoppers in September, so I'm gonna cash out but not sure which app to start using in its place
MelanieLisa you could get storewards, it looks OK a lot like shopprize. I think snap my eats is the best receipt app you should try it out if you haven't already done so.
SalmaS I already use snap my eats and zip zero. Has storewards started yet as i can not find it in App Store?
eyeballkerry it's not on App Store yet, has been said that it hopefully will be soon
eyeballkerry its available in the play store I'm using an android device. I'm about 3,000 points away from cashing out. Don't think its available on iphones yet. 
Yeah this is frustrating as it says you get a bonus for logging in with a receipt hog email address but can’t do this on iphone
lornaae says the iOS app is on the way end of the month - so think its coming
I just received a message through the app to say it is closing down in UK. Just cashed in. It also mentions the Storewards app.
I had the same message when I went into the app tonight, frustrating at Storewards isn’t available for iphone
I have also seen this 2day I know they had some issues with PayPal last week but not seen anything else
I've just had a message pop up on my phone they are closing think I need to cash out 
I also got the same message I have receipt and have just cashed out. so do I upload the receipt I have or just chuck them and wait for Storeward
You have until the end of September to use and cash out with receipt hog so you could keep uploading receipts until then if you want, you can also download storereward now though
lornaae hi just looked in the App Store and not there. I only have 69 coins in Hog and you need 1,000 to cash out I do t think I will make it to 1,000 by the end of September so I’ll just bin the receipt such a shame 
LouisaJane25586 it says the app should be available in the App Store soon so keep an eye out!
