The year is 1860, and a lonely house stands on a craggy rock in Ayreshire, Scotland. Inside, two men brace themselves against rushing winds, wailing voices and loud, crashing noises. Goats with fire-red eyes bleat relentlessly, and a procession of weird figures appear, apparently from all ages of man.
The Doctor and Martha (as played on TV by David Tennant and Freema Agyeman) find themselves in the middle of this cacophonous scenario, and it’s not long before they too are trying hold back the monstrous demons within…
Written by prolific Doctor Who novelist (and former DWM editor) Gary Russell, this suspenseful tale is read by David Banks – famous for playing the Cyber Leader in the 1980s.
