Teejay24 according to some website that does the calculations for you. A thousand watts is 22p per MINUTE. So... £13.20 per hour
DylanMoore It’s around 22p an hour, dependant on your tariff and a high wattage machine means quicker drying time,so much quicker to use than say a 300w dryer,so you wouldn’t need it on as long as a less wattage machine.
My tumble dryer is around 65p an hour and these are so much cheaper.
If in doubt Google is your source of info.
Greta price looks a good idea, never thought about this for drying clothes, rumble dryers got so expensive to run so I will check this out and maybe give it a try Thank you for sharing this deal

1,000 watts is 1 Kilowatt. Unit price of electricity is charged per Kw/h (kilowatt hour) so logically for every hour used it will cost whatever you pay per unit.
