Weird to see mudguards on such a bike. As ever remember this is a proprietary mid-drive motor from Brose I think who don't have a great reputation for reliability. These can be relatively short life products because if the motor fails it might need replacement and that could be over a £1000, when the battery wears out it may not be economic to replace it with a heavily worn motor and fatigued frame. The frame itself if damaged by off-road use of course is designed around this specific motor so damage the frame which of course won't be covered by the warranty then a replacement could be £1500-2500. Remember this ebike was originally designed to sell at £4500 but due to low sales is being heavily discounted here.
Also dare I say it this is a complicated bike to buy from Evans/Sports Direct who aren't known for great customer service.
Still probably a good option for someone who wants a e-mountain bike which they will use a lot within the 2 years of the guarantee, just make sure you buy it with a credit card that has excellent customer service when you have to make a claim against Sports Direct for not honouring the guarantee. The credit card is jointly liable for purchases over £100. Don't go through an intermediate payment system like paypal as your consumer rights may be reduced.
