Head out of the city on an excursion to a local community where you’ll prepare (and devour) some regional dishes, before swimming in a nearby cenote. Of course, you’ll have plenty of ways to spend your free time, like optional day trips to Isla Mujeres or Playa del Carmen, or just kicking back at the beach or by the hostel pool.

Before you leave for any trip, make sure to read the pre-departure information here.

Almost 11h flight from London to Cancun and 10h return. Chichen itza ruins probably 2h+ one way. Tulum ruins 1.5h one way. Coba ruins probably 1.5 -2h one way. Coco bongo club in playa del Carmen 1h one way.

Now Idk what deal is that. Yes it's cheap but 4 nights is too short. Jet lag will kill you. Out of season 2 people can go all inclusive for 2 weeks 5star hotel for around 1.8-2k including flights.

It's basically walking around Cancun and a single trip to a nearby jungle and a stay in a Hostel. Wouldn't it be cheaper to organize all yourself while on holiday in Mexico? Cannot see anyone willing to travel to Mexico for 4 nights and staying in a hostel. If you go on a package holiday then this deal is also not for you. Who is it for then?

I've done Cancun a few years ago. One of my best holidays with my mates.

If you go, definitely go to Coco Bongo. We paid £150 per ticket but this included drinks and some snacks and they sent a bus to our resort to pick us up but you have to make your own way back. It's a club they has live performances of dancers (not strippers)

Obviously, if you're tryna do a holiday on the cheap then give it a miss.

Ricky6981 I think Coco Bongo is a must, also Chichen Itza, Tulum (great ruins near the ocean), Coba- very nice pyramids and great view over the jungle (I think it's no longer allowed to climb it). Swimming in Cenote is almost in every location. Obviously there are more things to do, and more ruins to explore. I would go to Cozumel island this time for a day trip.

I much prefer Playa Del Carmen over Cancun, but I think I would choose location near Tulum this time as water is even more beautiful than in PDC.

ormejan Mexico is a beautiful place and tourists areas are safe too. Don't go into cartel areas and you will be safe, but this is a common sense, same like you not walking around dangerous areas in UK.

I love all these travel deals, we have booked 4 mini getaways between last month and January 2005. I wish I had time to do this one too 😂
