I have this and it's not comfortable at all. The material is flimsy and I could do much better with a cheaper one costing half the price. Also the pattern design leaves a lot to be desired. Awful!

deepcore No I don't work for Laura Ashley. I've posted almost 9,000 deals on Latest Deals, and not even 1% of those are for Laura Ashley! Shame you didn't simply exchange it for another pattern you prefered before using it.

Johnny Is it even possible to exchange a Christmas gift I received from someone else and to a store I never purchased from in the first place? I had no choice.
Judging from reviews, people say it "looks lovely" which is a personal preference but "creases" and "fades" in the long term which is a fact.
So naturally people who like the colour scheme are going to buy it and leave good reviews based on their opinion on how it looks and how it feels to them.

However many stores like M&S, John Lewis and Laura Ashley who care about brand reputation will typically exercise some goodwill with regards to exchange without receipt, no problem. Just ask politely.
In the event that an item fails, or is not fit for purpose then shops do not have the right to demand a receipt. A credit card slip or statement or even the say-so of a person who was present when the products were purchased, are legally enough, according to the Guardian.
