That Boutique-y Gin Company's aGeINg is something that ought to be very intriguing to the inquisitive gin nerd. The gin within the bottle is a wonderful recipe full of classic gin botanicals (juniper, coriander, orange, cassia, etc.), but the little wooden stick you see alongside the bottle is where things get interesting.
You see, cask-aged gin is great, but sometimes you might think the cask-ageing has gone on a bit too long or perhaps not long enough with certain gins. With aGeINg, you pop that (purposefully) charred stick into the bottle of gin and let it impart its oak-y deliciousness. Once it has achieved a flavour profile to your liking, simply remove the stick to arrest the process.
