Exclusive to Fortnum's, our 2022 First Flush Darjeeling Tea hails from the historic Badamtam Estate, where high altitude and cool Himalayan winds produce a superb aromatic spring tea with exceptional minerality and clarity. It is intense in flavour with a light crisp mouthfeel, reminiscent of muscatel grapes. As a black tea, the colour is quite light in the cup, with earthy green glints.

To brew, heat freshly drawn water to 90°C and, using one rounded teaspoon of loose leaf tea per person, brew for approximately 3-5 minutes. Badamtam is best enjoyed without milk.
