You can get a Big Mac and Fries for £1.99 if you keep the receipt from any previous purchase at Mcdonalds. At the top of the receipt is a section asking you to provide feedback and you will receive a 5 digit code to write on top of the receipt. You can actually just write any 5 digit number without doing the survey as they don't ever check the receipts! Also many mcdonalds allow you to choose from other meals like 6 chicken nuggets and McChicken sandwich so it's worth asking about that too

Been doing this for years. Some staff don't even take the receipt and some say keep receipt and use again.
So all you do is pop a random number on receipt and take it back in and ask for a big Mac and fries?

They've now increased the cost of this from £1.99 to £2.99, but the range of food you can get has also increased. As well as a Big Mac, the offer now include a Quarter Pounder, 6 Chicken McNuggets, Filet-o-Fish or a McPlant. All with medium Fries or a Side Salad.
