Who is eligible for a Blue Light Card under Teachers?
- State Early Years & Primary Schools
- State Secondary Schools & 6th Form Colleges
- Special Schools, Vocational Schools, Referral Units and Centrally Employed
Note: Higher Education Staff are not included.
How will it be verified?
- Either instant email domain verification from your work email, or via document upload which may take up to 7 days.

What discounts do I get?
There are hundreds of discounts available including supermarkets such as ASDA, coffee shops like Star Bucks, and fashion brands like New Look. Greene King pubs gives 15% off food, EE gives 20% off SIM, and Samsung gives up to 24% off.

Why not open it up to all public sector employees who server the public eg. Local government?
I have just had mine approved. Understandably, their systems are very slow, but well worth getting if you can.
