Free Boiler With Government-Backed Scheme (Worth Up to £2,500)
Latest Deals has worked with Free Boiler Scheme to show you how to claim a new boiler for free.
Check to see if you qualify for a free boiler with this Government ECO scheme. If you or anyone permanently living in your household receives benefits, you could qualify for a free gas boiler or electrical heating grant. Your boiler must be over 6 years old to be eligible for a free boiler, however, if it's under 6 years it may be more cost effective to repair your current boiler.
Full list of eligible benefits:
- Pension Credit
- Universal Credit
- Income based Jobseekers allowance
- Income related Employment & Support Allowance
- Income Support
- Housing Benefit
- Tax Credits (Child or Working Tax Credit)
Enter your postcode to check your eligibility. Book your free survey and you'll be matched to a local, skilled installer. They will carry out your boiler installation with minimal disruption so you will barely know they have been, other than the fact you’ll be enjoying the benefits of your new central heating.

jackiewood That's because people working and not on any top up benefits must be earning over the benefit threshold. If not then claim them.
jackiewood oh so people who are elderly or can't work for whatever reason font deserve the help ? ...my father just had his done he is 85 years old ..should he go out and find work ??
jackiewood erm maybe because you are fit for work you can afford to do your own house repairs ?? ...just a thought
ali50 Actually I do work and I can't actually afford my own house repairs! Just because you work doesn't mean your a high earner. Maybe I should sit on my arse to get benefits Just a thought!!!!
DazLee67 didn't say that, all I'm saying is if you work and are not on a high wage you don't get any help at all.
jackiewood Are you saying all people who are on benefits just sit on their arses and do nothing? My mom was made redundant because she's sick and unable to work. She'd love to be back at work. Right now she needs all the help she can get.
Second that, get penalised for working and paying taxes. Shouldn't it be the other way round. Tax payers should be entitled to all these......
Thank you for the information my wife and proudly worked until recently when my wife was left disabled and my wage alone wasn't enough to cover it all. But thanks for making us feel like crap in the comments.
Krishna4321 no it's for people who are elderly or can't work .. think that comment is a bit low.
Krishna4321 this is for people who cant afford to get it done because they are old or cant work ..omg some people !
DazLee67 It's true what OP said, yes some people cannot work and are disabled but some are just smart and it's work out better for them not to work. Government/ local councils should start checking those people. How many on benefits getting free houses, free money, and some even free brand new cars paid by disability allowance. Another con is allowing them to buy with discount and resale a council house with a huge profit, it should be if you buy then you either live in it or when you decide to sale and move on council should buy them. If they are that poor then how they can afford buying the house in the first place and from where the money is coming from. You can disagree but it's a fact.
I'm and have been paying taxes for over 40 years, and not entitled to any of this. Unfair.
I'm going down the Heat pump grant route, can be working to get that and despite what our billionaire owned media tell you, they're cheaper to run and suitable for 90% of UK homes.
Search octopus energy heat pump for a quick 2 min all in quote
I've entered my details to see if I qualify for this offer, but sadly because I proudly don't claim any benefits, I don't qualify.
Good luck to those who can.
I tried this last year I was refused because I'm a pensioner but not as better off as those on pension credit so I didn't get it. I worked for 54 years. . So it's just basic everything or mostly do without. I actually get £9 a month too much to claim anything.
Loopylegs and that's not fair the criteria isn't fair if your a pensioner you should be able to claim this.
jackiewood I worked and receive a full pension that is £9 a month too much to claim anything even cost of living payments or anything. Makes me feel that I would have been better off all round if I hadn't worked.
tarabow2020 Be careful what you are saying as it may one day come back to bite you.
tonygch96 I second that. I checked this company and it's not a Government company as it advertises but just a Marketing company it appears go.leadpronto.co.uk/lead-generation-lp/
I'm not sure I trust this link. Can anyone help me verify the company behind this? I'm very dubious and vulnerable and don't want to be told yes, or I may be accepted to find out I have to pay for part when I could get the entire thing cheaper elsewhere looking myself. I'm not on any of the income-supported benefits but told I may apply and they'll contact me. Why do I feel I've just sold my soul and my data.
As mentioned above, they just want your details, even if your entitled, they tell you some reason about your boiler not qualifying.
Considered buying one of these but you have to repipe an older house! Think LD ought to abandon this one judging by all the comments
thats a great deal - needed fr people on low incomes. I'm not eligible but im still happy others who are on low income can benefit. I really dont understand comments where people say they pay taxes and its unfair... Need to think about the society as a whole and help each other. Yes im subsidising others with the taxes I pay and im happy as long as its not being abused by others.
