Will probably look at these offers for my daughter, she's at that age where she needs a SIM card for her phone
Thanks for sharing this brilliant deal from Lyca, this seems to be a good deal for the price, will look into it and see if its going to be any good for youngest Granddaughter for when she watch films in the car, whilst family on way to various campsite
Quite a nice offer here from Lyca, but the £20.00 pm after 6 months is far too expensive for me,
This has to be the worst mobile company there is. Seriously they are truly awful. Zero customer support, shoddy company, bad practices. Steer clear, I mean it. They are worse than useless. Crooks.
mikepaterson I've been with Lyca for 6 months after taking out the 3GB 1p deal. No problems so far, but I have seen a lot of complaints
mikepaterson Completely agree, after 3 weeks of not being able to use my phone after an apparent cyber attack, Yesterday I finally had a response from lyca who now say my £1.99 bundle never existed, Even though my son and fiancé are still on the same offer
I'm looking for a cheap and good mobile offer. This looks great and worth a try. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing this brilliant deal from Lyca, this looks great for our grandkids when watching films in the car on the way to holiday, will have to have a better look
can't believe lyca are still allowed to advertise deals at the moment after recent data leak cyber attack, people are porting away from them (myself included)...please be aware before you take the plunge!
DonGardner Everyone should read Don's post before signing up to a Lyca deal because lots of people have had the same poor experience recently. Many people lost their number in the recent cyber attack too.
Customer service is poor, long waiting times to speak to anyone.
the offer is amazing but it's one to go into with your eyes open.
Personally, would never use them again.
Should make clear that there’s no Wi-Fi calling on Lyca, as many people would expect that for a company that piggybacks EE
tonygch96 there is tethering www.lycamobile.co.uk/en/data-allowance/can-i-share-my-data-allowance-with-other-devices-or-users
EthanGeddes Many thanks for that, the last time I asked them they said no. So this is a game changer
Lyca signal is good if you live in a city but for slight rural people the signal is terrible i ported out after one month to Lebara
momhobnob666 interesting. My sister lives in the middle of nowhere and ee is the only one that she can get a reliable signal with (which is why Lyca piggyback)
I got the last offer, basically the same deal minus the international minutes for £10. I have it in a tablet and am using it for my internet usage including Netflix and Prime etc with no problems. I might just cancel that deal and take up this deal.
Thanks for sharing this brilliant deal from Lyca Mobile UK, I looked into these offers the other day and purchased 2 sims for my grandkids when they are going on there holidays....great value
With a deal like this you can save hundreds of pounds a year on WiFi if you're a single person living on your own
Thanks for sharing this brilliant deal from Lyca.....I purchased a couple of sums for my grandkids for the journey's on the way to there holidays.....they've only had them 2 days now but its a great idea for them to watch film on...many thanks
Will I be able to change my payment card if needed? My last 1p offer with lyca got cancelled because i had a new back card and they aren't able to update it.
EthanGeddes you can, I just to double check how as they changed their website layout a couple of weeks ago; log into your account dashboard and select 'saved cards'. You can change it there.
I'm not sure if it's as easy on their very *very* basic app though.
For those concerned about the recent data breach, when you sign up to Lyca, there is no credit check, so I'm not 100% but I don't even think they ask for DOB (I signed up to this yesterday and don't remember it). The only details Lyca will hold is name, address, and card number, which should be obfuscated. When you sign up, you have to authorise the first payment with your bank too.
If you're concerned, don't think I'm trying to convince you, I'm just offering more information.
kanedaku and to be honest now they've had a data breach I would have thought there more secure then ever
I've not long to go now before my Three contract ends, I hope these deals will still be around when it does.
Thanks for sharing this brilliant deal from Lyca, they've been doing some great bargains that I've been interested in over the last few months, and I purchased a couple of sums for my grandkids
Further information: this offer is based on a pay as you go package. You are buying a 100gb bundle each month, so to make any chargeable calls you will need to apply credit to your account first. There is no billing for out of bundle use.
bezwafc I got it to work. Went onto desktop site and entered my card details - dont use any pre-poulate options. My phone has card details stored but I entered them all manually and it worked.
