A huge event which saw millions of free cups of coffee handed out last year looks set to return in 2020, according to reports.

Costa Coffee is reported to have announced that its hugely popular free coffee day will return this year on March 31.

Costa looks to have told retailers that it will be giving away free coffee from all its express machines on March 31 this year.

Last year the event was held in October, and saw three million free coffees picked up from 8,500 Express machines in garages and shops across the country.
