Keep seeing this advertised but what puts me off is having to cancel it.

PhilipMarc what’s a virtual card please?

Maria53 It's a virtual card you add money into it and they can't extract anymore beyond that. Revolut, for example, has it.

Starling Bank also has virtual cards, too.

When companies make it intentionally complicated for customers to cancel a subscription, that's one way to show them it's over.

I tried this SimplyCook and cancelled after soon as I could, but they still sent out a 2nd box, then they sent a 3rd so I emailed them to complain, they then offered me a free postage sticker to return it or 50% off the box. I opted for the latter, but fair play it's nice tasting curries.

I've done this before and was actually very impressed. We had a curry one and also jerk chicken, which actually resembled what you would get in Jamaica, having been, it tastes great.

You do have to keep an eye on cancelling subscription if you wish to, but it was easy enough to do online

I posted this a few days ago but merged into this one! Mine was how to just pay 50p p&p

TheSorceror they’re good at that!….it’s so the LD TEAM get the credit. It’s getting rather unscrupulous around here….just like HotUKdeals. And if you’re not in the click you get snubbed and your posts get usurped.

It’s even worse when they are posting sponsored deals that cost us more money than other options….like Co-Op deals when Co-Op are by far the most expensive stores!

(Let’s see how long this post stays up??)

Fatabelly I'm glad that someone sees what I am. It's hugely frustrating. A lot of things aren't right. They have continually done this to various posts of mine. You really have to have to have your wits about you and research yourself what's being posted. Most of the time they are horrendous amazon deals that show an untrue discount. This deal now shows a time stamp of 4hrs ago yet the 1st comment was made 25days ago. Lol

TheSorceror oh yes, I definitely agree about the crappy Amazon deals. Especially the cheap and nasty Laptops they keep posting….those with the Celeron Processors that are so old, outdated and slow, that you’d be better off with an Abacus! lol

TheSorceror your deal was for £1 same as this and your link went to £1 offer same as this so it was marked as a duplicate ax this was posted first. This is sponsored a post paid for by Simply Cook and was posted originally 3 weeks ago but refreshed for them today so the time you are looking at is refreshed time. We are open, honest and transparent about how we make money to give our members Amazon vouchers and continue to run the site.

You can find more information about this on the link I have sent you previously

I hope this explains things thing to you

Thank you

emmabeckz no it was not. It has been conveniently edited by someone. I had 50p p&p in the deal title and had a screenshot in the description to authenticate it. The fact that the deal link is the same is immaterial as mine was simply 50p p&p. Additionally, taking it down after a few days of posting I can never recoup those points for that day.

TheSorceror your deal and link were member reported as the deal link took them to the £1 deal - check if you don’t believe me. Your link was £1 and was moderated by the weekend moderators as it was £1 not 50p. Your own link may have been an alternate affiliate link exclusive to you but it was £1 not 50p when posted and still is Thank you Image

emmabeckz I can't check as my deal is removed. No matter I know what I posted. Photo that went with the deal and an explanation. Mods didn't read or understand it. Anyway I'm not going to win and I'm not spend whole night on this.

TheSorceror I'm really sorry to go against you, but I looked at your post at the time, and it was showing at £1 not 50p, you had 50p showing that you had added yourself, but when you clicked the link it was £1 x

im Still in two minds if to order this, it may only be a £1, but having to contact them to cancel it something you shouldn't have to do if that is all you want.
