Huawei P30 Lite For £3.50 Per Month (After cashback. Total cost £84)
Mobile Phones Direct have this phone contract for just £3.50 per month after cashback on their website. The final cost should be £85 after cashback.
You buy the contract and you will pay £20 per month. Then, every few months you claim cashback. See the picture below. Remember to put diary reminders to claim the cashback!
Might be a misprice or glitch as the normal selling price is £279 for the phone.
Remember to do the cashback at different stages over a few months to get this low price. You need to pay £20 per month but then the cashback is redeemed at stages
The deal is showing for me this morning and this seems like a fantastic price after the cash back at merely £3.50 a month
Would definitely consider this myself I‘m just wondering how reliable the cashback payment are or how good I would be at remembering to claim to them.
Would be worth the effort for this bargain
myusernamehasgo i got it to work if you screenshot regarding cash back then if after 6 months they dont pay first one cancel
Just worth pointing out that you have to claim the cashback in stages, spread out over very specific months. Don't forget to if you do sign up!
Thanks for sharing, I will have a look into this. So it's pretty much you're paying a normal contract price then after a while you just get some cash lol...
Edit - Can you take this to a shop to be unlocked? Or will the phone be unlocked and it just comes with a certain sim? I just want the phone in all honesty and would likely put this sim in a tablet for my daughter to use .
I was going to buy one but they want to know if your single or in a relationship and if you have a job and what your job is, what has that got to do with a contract
This is the information they require for all phone contracts, this isn’t unusual at all.
You need to provide proof of address, address history your income and employment as Ann1984 they are doing a credit check to make sure you can keep up to the payments.
They may or may not accept individuals depending on their circumstances.
Sh.!t Ordered it, then realised it's £20 a month, before cashback. The £3.50 is, the cost after cashback. I hope I've read it wrong.
This is actually a great deal, has anyone claimed back cashback from them before? Is it easy?
It is very easy just log into your account on mobilephonedirect and upload the bill with few information. They will verify and issue a cashback directly into your account within 14 days.
The cash back for the phone is a scam you wont end up getting
the money they make loads of excuses. Read other people reviews about it. Apprently they are going to stop it soon from people getting away with doing it that's how bad it is. Just thought I'd let people know don't like seeing people being ripped of.X
Hey I've used a similar company before myself (haven't used these guys but they do appear to have decent reviews on trustpilot - https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk) but the cashback rules are always very strict and specific.
If you're not sure you'll remember to claim exactly when they want you to (and in the way they want you to as well) then I'd recommend avoiding these cashback deals in favour of something else.
However, if you can stick the dates you need to claim cashback into your diary and can stay on top of it they are pretty much the cheapest phone contracts you can get.
There are pros and cons (and I do think they probably intentionally make it awkward/difficult to claim) but I wouldn't personally consider it a scam. I think they rely on the people forgetting to claim to subsidise the cost for people who do claim.
I got my S8 on this site. Got all my cash back, very quickly after entering all info correctly.
Keep your customer no. And all details after making the purchase
It is £279 if you buy the phone outright, but you're absolutely right, in a contract 20*24 is 480 so with the 396 back it is 84. Works out great with the contract price or the handset price!
I checked out but they're doing a credit check and my credit is bad so they won't let me have it anyway lol.
Awsome deal i have gone for it hope its honoured. Reminders scheduled in my diary to claim cashback with an alarm and 7 day follow up also scheduled
Iv had a confirmation email and also a text from dpd! Whoohoo what a great deal ID pay that for just the sim!
Ann1984 early morning around 7am. I got the email around 12.30 and text shortly after
I worked for phones 4 u b4 , we sold deals with cash back yes they are genuine but just a heads up with cash back if u miss it during any of the months then you loose out on the cashback scheme for the rest of the contract
I have used these guys before and have claimed cash back for my Huawei p20. Easily done. Put a reminder in your phone for when you need to claim back. You jus need to email them with your order number and copy of your bill for that month. It's so easy and definitely worth it. They are also very helpful on their Facebook chat and phone if any issues.
I dislike Contracts, but this is a cracking deal.
I would buy it outright to save the hassle of the demanding contract.
order been cancelled. says due to security reasons even though ive never had problems with any contracts ive taken.
Shittiest company to buy phone from. You will stay in queue for any queries questions cashback. And cashback Is paid 6 12 18 24 month. Order will get cancelled after hard credit check. So that's on your file as well but no contract or device will come.
I have ordered this phone in the morning but have cancelled in the evening because of this cashback claim process
wouldn't recommend MobilePhonesDirect cashback deals at all, they will do everything not to pay!
I just ordered over phone because werent getting any where online the gentleman said its a black friday promotion not glitch all orders will go though cashback simple was explained
lost about delivery time. on page it says 7 days for black but on confirmation it has tomorows date as delivery date.
Good site. Last black friday got samsung s9 with 100gb data and unlimited call/txt. £72 contract on discount £36. Cashback site reduced it to £16. not missed any of the £480 cashback yet
Don't use this company. They charged me over £100 for a phone that I received and sent straight back the same day. They said it was returned to them damaged and scratched. I was redirected numerous times to different people, each saying something different. EE then started taking money from me for the contract even though I no longer had the phone and had never used it. In the end I paid the charge as I didn't want issues with EE who had been my provider for over 10 years. EE were sympathetic yet said I had to deal with mobiles phone direct. Futile. Absolutely appalling. Stay away.
The website of selling the phone for £279 offline Carphone Warehouse are selling it for £229.99. It works out I'll be getting the phone for £84 and my deal has just gone through.
So hopefully it will be dispatched tomorrow and here by Friday
There is something fishy about this offer / company.
My order went through, and had confirmation it would ship.
Then... moments later... cancelled.
It gives me quite an uneasy feeling that there is some kind of scam going on as I already had entered bank details for direct debits. Quite worrying.
