Product Overview Breeze through life admin with this 15.6-inch HP laptop. The long-lasting battery life means you can find the comfiest seat in the house whether it’s near a socket or not. And you won’t be waiting around to get going with the 128GB SSD loading everything up quickly – it’ll even give you plenty of space to store important files and family pics. If you’re a bit of a multitasker, it’s got you covered with an Intel Pentium Silver processor and 4GB of RAM. That means you can have a few pages open and flick between them with ease. But it'd be a shame to not really make the most of the crystal-clear Full HD screen. Why not stream a film when you’re done for the day?
4GB of memory which is non-upgradeable I think is the real issue here. The benefit of a laptop like this is portability as it has long battery life so can actually be used as a portable however the big 15.6" screen makes its more bulky and also reduces battery runtime. If you are just using this in the home from room to room with a mains socket available I would try to get something more powerful with more memory. I don't think its a bad deal it just has to be right for your use. 4GB is a big restriction especially with Windows 11. I would definitely setup a fixed 8GB virtual memory cache using that fast SSD drive though. That will compensate a lot for only 4GB of actual memory. I think I'm right in saying this has a 10Nm CPU so a very advanced and low power fabrication process. The laptop is likely fanless so no matter what you do you won't have annoying fan noise. If it had been 8GB perhaps at £220 it would have been a better deal.
