JAMIS Dakar Full Suspension Mountain Bike

Bikes this loaded aren’t usually this affordable! Breaking the mould of what’s possible around the thousand-pound mark, the Jamis Dakar is a remarkably well-equipped first foray into full-suspension mountain bikes for newcomers to the sport.

The updated frame of the Jamis Dakar has a lower standover, longer reach, slacker angles and a full SRAM SX Eagle groupset, perfect for ripping round trail centres or down technical descents.

Dual suspension opens up a whole new world of speed and control off-road. The proven MP2 design is a frame platform that has won numerous industry accolades and Bike of the Year awards.

The mp2 suspension system is active with a near-vertical wheel axel travel path, plus excellent lateral and torsional stiffness for rear wheel tracking precision.

Riding fast requires steering precision, which starts with the front of the bike. Stiffening this area has led to less wheel deflection and greater wheel control.
