Previously, the £1 tickets were exclusively for recipients of Universal Credit etc. only, so any friends or family joining the recipient had to pay full price - £20 adult, £5 child, or a discount if eligible. Now the scheme has been expanded so that up to 4 guests can join for £1 each too - [credit @dhaiv for the following] up to 4 guests of any age on weekdays, or up to 4 children (4-15 years old) on weekends.
Additionally, the list of eligible visitors has been extended to include asylum applicants with an Application registration card (ARC).
To buy £1 tickets, scroll down the Tickets page past the ‘Admission with Donation’ section until you reach the ‘Admission’ section. Then scroll a bit further until you see the options for ‘Jobseeker/Universal Credit’ and ‘Jobseeker/Universal Credit Guest’.
You can add £1 donations per ticket by buying via the ‘Admission with Donation’ section.
NOTES
This extension to 4 guests and does NOT apply to Wakehurst entry, which remains for recipients only.
Tickets for 16-29 year olds or students of any age are able to buy £9 tickets to Kew Gardens.
£10 ‘Adult after 4pm’ tickets are available.
