Kids Go Free in the School Holidays with Wightlink - Please See the Terms

Take the kids to the Isle of Wight or mainland for free during the school holidays. Under 5s always travel free with Wightlink but when the schools break up, you can also take up to two children aged 5-15 for free with every adult or senior foot passenger day return ticket.

How do I get this offer?

If you’re looking to travel from the mainland to the Island, click the ‘Book offer to Island’ button, and if you’re looking to travel to the mainland, click ‘Book offer to mainland’. Choose your dates of travel and ensure they fall within in the offer period. The discount will show at the payment stage. This offer is valid for up to two free children to every adult or senior. If you would like to add extra children outside the offer, please make a separate booking.

Terms and conditions

1. This is a time limited Foot Passenger offer, available Online only.

1. Wightlink reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time.

1. Up to 2 (two) x Child Foot Passenger Day Returns (5-15) travel FREE when 1 (one) x Adult Foot Passenger Day Return is purchased or when 1 (one) x Senior Citizen Foot Passenger Day Return is purchased for bookings made between 4 January 2023 and 1 January 2024. Regrettably, we are unable to mix passenger types on the same booking ie an Adult and a Senior Citizen must be booked separately.

1. Travel must take place between:

February half term: 11 – 19 February 2023

Easter holidays: 1 – 16 April 2023

May half term: 27 May – 4 June 2023

Summer holidays: 22 July – 3 September 2023

October half term: 21 October – 5 November 2023

Christmas holidays: 15 December 2023 – 1 January 2024

1. Dates are based on Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and Isle of Wight schools.

1. The group must travel together to get the offer.
