Lakeland Electric Chocolate Fountain
Product number: 62811
You know those dreams you have where everything is made of chocolate? And then you wake up, and the real, not-made-of-chocolate world is such a disappointment… unless you have our magical Chocolate Fountain, of course.
Any chocolate-lover’s sweet dream come true, it sends liquid chocolate cascading down over its stainless steel tiers, ready to coat any treat you can put on a stick and wave underneath it.
How to get your fountain flowing
It’s really simple to use. There’s only one dial with three settings: Off, Heat and Heat Motor. While you’re melting your chocolate (you have to do this separately, and you’ll need between 500g and 600g), turn the dial to Heat mode to let the base warm up. Pour your melted chocolate into the bowl at the bottom of the fountain, then switch to the Heat Motor setting to send the chocolate up the central spiral so it can cascade down over the tiers, which is a mesmerisingly mouth-watering sight. Once you can tear your eyes away, you’re ready to…
Take a dip
We tried strawberries, banana and, most popular of all, marshmallows, but that's just the beginning – who knows where your imagination will take you. Cake cube, anyone?
The right kind of chocolate
Not that there’s such a thing as the ‘wrong’ kind of chocolate, but you need a particular kind for chocolate fountains – it has to have a bit more fat in it than usual or it won’t flow properly. We use our 900g bags of Belgian Milk Chocolate Drops or Belgian White Chocolate Drops, which have been blended with extra cocoa butter so they work perfectly – and they come in mess-free microwaveable pouches for easy melting.
Oh, and you’ll need some wooden or bamboo skewers too.
Removable stainless steel tiers are easy to clean.
Holds 500g to 600g chocolate. 19cm Dia. x 34cm H. 1.5kg. Flex 75cm. 70-100W.
