hammaadhayat1 yeah i have the same offer too hopefully when that runs out this 50gb offer still on
uzzi30 when does ur run out ? I doubt this 50gb will last long this long of a deal. It is confusing as kept changing deals regularly on this
uzzi30 couldn't you turn off the auto renew on your current Lebara deal, do the porting dance and get this deal?
I'm on the Lebara 5gb deal and was wondering if anyone knows if I could change to this deal even though I'm only a few months into my current 6 month Lebara deal? Hope this makes sense
markstrong76 I think you have to be a new customer to get this offer but you could always check with their live chat or contact their customer service? Thank you
markstrong76 I have done it a few times yes was a right load of hassle but worth it if you want the cheap tariff in the long run I guess!
emmabeckz its personal choice I think at the end of the day I suppose. I would think I'd have to contact Lebara CS to find out if I could end my current deal. Appreciate your time talking
markstrong76 No problem - it all depends if you want to keep your number as well I suppose as if not there is always the new account route but a lot of people are attached to their numbers now. They do make thinks very difficult with porting hopefully one day will be a lot simpler
As it's a rolling monthly contract you can cancel the auto renewal on the account, that will end the contract. If you purchase the new deal you'll get a new number (cannot port number from Lebara to Lebara)
tufalchy if I do what's called the porting dance where you go from Lebara to a PAYG SIM even just for a day or so then go back to Lebara using a different email address then Lebara thinks your a new customer
Such an amazing deal here from Lebara, my son uses them and he's more than happy with them. Thanks for posting.
love Yours found deals , got it x 3 . Thank You so much , thanks for yours hard work finding deals / bargains , much appreciate it . Regards
Andrewytta it's so good that all cold calls stopped ️
Jokes aside it depends where you live
Just received my SIM via the postie. SIM in, not connected with the plan purchased via this offer. Phoned helpline. Libara are aware that "many" customers are experiencing this same issue. Told to wait 24hours as the technical problem is being resolved. Issue lays with the £1.25 for 7 months plan "not being a plan offered on Lebara corporate website" and so has not activated in the usual way.
Happy to wait another 24hours for this fantastic plan to work, but not so happy that I've already paid, received the SIM, want to use the plan that I purchased.
Expect the be given the standard run around when calling the helpline, the second agent I spoke to did fully take details about my activation problem and said it will be activated "privately" which may take the 24hours.
If you've grabbed this deal you will likely need to call and speak (slowly) with the helpline team at Lebara, your SIM will be need to be "activated privately" so that that tariff can be applied to the new SIM and £1.25 offer fulfilled.
SebK84 It took talking to 2 people for me.
Simple process honestly, not a faulty SIM, nor phone, nor purchase a £1.25 tariff for some other none existing SIM. Just a technical issue at their end that didn't link-up the SIM they sent, to the letter that it was sent with showing the MSE exclusive £1.25 tariff.
TBF saving around £10 each of the first 7 months is worth the 30 minutes slowly talking them through the need for them to link the only SIM they'd sent me to the only call plan I'd purchased
It may be that they've fixed the online automated activation for this tariff, but when the tariff hadn't linked to the phoneline number of the SIM on the website or in the Lebara app, the inevitable speaking with a human became a necessary evil (twice lol)
Just posting my experience so folks here don't get swayed away from this good deal. It was a painless ordeal and speaking slowly and clearly when explaining that they need to push their keyboard keys that will link the plan to number, did get everything sorted in my favour
Good price for 50gb 5g. Now how can I switch my £1 to another £1.25 contract without loosing my number
