hammaadhayat1 I think that you have cooling off period of 14 days during which you are entitled for a refund. Regarding keeping £10 Amazon voucher. Isn't this fraud, but honestly they will send you voucher after cooling off period anyway.

Compliance with Distance Selling Regulations Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your Service for any account opened on our website or through our telesales team within 14 days of opening your Account.

hammaadhayat1 hi no you need to have it for 3 months to get the £10 Amazon gift card but you can cancel at any time as there is no contract. You get it for £10 a month for the first 6 months if you want it for that time or just have it for one month. If you wish to cancel at anytime, all you need to do is dial *190# from your mobile and follow the instructions.

“Customers will receive a £10 Amazon Gift Card after being activated for 3 months”

hope that helps thank you

I've been with Lyca since last November from 3.

Sorriest thing I did.

January I had no Sim signal for 10 day's on arrival back from abroad.

6 weeks ago I could not send text messages for 6 day's.

And the past 5 day's I cannot make calls, I get cut off before 10 seconds and it's still not working.

Can't log in online, saying my number does not exist.

And if I phone 322 99% of the time it say's I have dialled an incorrect number.

I'm going back to Three.

I have had trouble with my Lyca sim to.. It suddenly stops working, no signal, can't send texts, can't make calls and no-one can send me texts or call me.. I have to turn my phone off and wait a few minutes then turn it back on and then it's working again.. great that it works after doing that but a real pain to have to do it more than once a day sometimes.. Worst thing is that I don't know it's not working unless I try to make a call or try to send a text to someone so up until I try to do either of them unbeknown to me I have been uncontactable until i try contacting someone or realise my phone has been very quiet for at least a couple of hours and try it.. Didn't start happening for the first 2 months i had it but after that it's been a regular issue.. Most of the time when it is working when I try to make a call it can take 1-2 mins for it to connect to the number I'm calling and start ringing.. Never again will i be using Lyca, it's not worth the hassle i have to go through to simply call or text someone!! So it was a big jog on to Lyca from me!!

As much as it is a great deal it's worth phoning existing provider etc. I'm with o2, I get 200gig a month plus unlimited phone text etc....

All for £7.50 a rolling month. No Amazon card though 😉

eviestericker it is a great offer but personally I wouldn't ever use them again. I took advantage of one of their other offers and couldn't make or receive calls. When I cancelled they continued to take money from my account and their customer service number didn't exist

ruth1987uk yes I'm speaking bank and do a chargeback as you've cancelled it they should be doing that once you've cancelled it they should automatically refund you of the did but you all your bank will vest a charge as you're protected by Visa whoever your card is MasterCard visa no can express all that sort

CallumFlowers thank you. Yes, I have received my refund and changed my card so they can't take any more.

Just thought I'd warn others of the possible inconvenience the company can cause.

Avoid this company like the plague, so many issues I had to threaten them with the ombudsman to stop them STEALING money from my account. Haven't used them in over a year because of a whole host of issues, then they started stealing from me with no contract or active sim 12 months later. They probably hope people won't notice since it's smaller amounts.

I very much dislike that Latestdeals partners which such a disreputable company, they have such a poor reputation on so many deal forums and review sites for a reason.
